Last of the Mohicans Outdoor Drama Rain Policy

It is our policy not to cancel performances before 8:30 PM except under extraordinary circumstances.  It is our policy that we may delay the start of the performance or take an unscheduled intermission of up to one half hour, in hopes that inclement weather may pass.  It is also our policy that the play may be performed in light rain conditions.  No umbrellas will be permitted in the seating area, although you may use an umbrella out of the sight line of other patrons.

If patrons leave of their own volition and the show is not cancelled, no rain checks or refunds will be given.

If a performance is officially cancelled, an announcement to that effect will be made.  Ticket stubs for a cancelled performance will be honored as rain checks and may be exchanged for available seating at a subsequent performance for up to two years from the date of issue.  Please keep your ticket stub.  No replacements will be issued and it is our only record that you purchased a ticket for a cancelled performance.  No refunds of any kind will be issued for cancelled performances except for those individuals who purchase Rain Insurance.

Rain insurance is available at an additional cost and is only available at the time of purchase Rain Insurance entitles the patron to a full refund of the base ticket price in the event of cancellation.  Refunds are only given if rain insurance has been purchased.

Redeeming Rain Checks

In the event of cancellation, retain your ticket stub as a rain check.  Contact our Box Office to arrange for tickets to a future performance.  Rain checks have no cash value and may only be used for a ticket of equal or lesser value or as partial payment for a ticket of greater value.  Rain checks expire two years from date of the performance for which they were originally purchased.

*Rain Insurance Policy

Rain insurance can be purchased at an additional cost of $2.00 per ticket and entitles the patron to a full refund of the base ticket price but not the $2.00 Rain Insurance fee.  Rain insurance must be purchased at the time of ticket purchase and is not available after 2 PM for day of show ticket sales.  If rain insurance has been purchased and the performance is officially cancelled, tickets purchased by credit card will automatically be refunded to that card within ten (10) business days.  Patrons who paid with cash or check will need to report to the Box Office at the time of cancellation and fill out a brief claim form.  A refund check will then be mailed to the patron within 7 business days.  No cash or check refunds will be issued at the time of cancellation.
